Gift Show Submission Guidlines

An Exhibition of Art & Elegance

Show dates: November 22, 2024 – January 31, 2025
Opening Reception: Friday November 22nd; 6-9 pm – Artists to attend
We are excited to include a curated selection of handcrafted gift shop items in Winter’s Palette, our elegant winter exhibition. This is an opportunity for artisans to showcase their unique handmade goods that evoke the spirit of the season. We are seeking high-quality, one-of-a-kind items that visitors can purchase as holiday gifts.
Open to Emerging and established artists with artful gift shop items: pottery, jewelry, felted items, scarves, fused glass, etc.
Entry Fee: $25 per artist
Payment: Non-refundable entry fees are payable by online at SUBMISSION FEE or in person at the AGL during gallery hours.
Works sold are subjected to 40% commission to the Art Gallery of Lambeth
Application fee is non-refundable.
The AGL reserves the right to decline a submission deemed unsuitable for the show.
Terms of Entry: 2 Step Jury process
Step 1: On-line Submission
- Initial applications are only accepted electronically and should be sent through our online submission form. SUBMISSION FORM
- Submit high resolution quality photos in jpeg format; size – 500×500 pixels (file sizes of under 5 mb are more likely to upload properly)
- Artists are to submit recent available pieces or collections for jurying.
- Open to all emerging and established artists 18 years of age and older
Step 2: In-person Submission by appointment
- All items must be handcrafted by the submitting artist
- Viewing of art work / items is by appointment only
- Items must be priced for retail sale, with the gallery retaining a 40% commission on each sale.
- Artisans are responsible for ensuring their items are appropriately packaged and labeled for display.
- Works rejected at this stage must be picked up promptly; art works not collect will be subject to a storage fee.
No substitutions: only work that has been submitted and accepted by the jurors will be included in the exhibition.
